Budapest by Night: A Sightseeing Experience You Shouldn’t Miss

We get it, you may be tired after a long day sightseeing the Hungarian capital. Or you may be just arriving, ready to drop your luggage off and discover the city. Whatever the case, don’t miss out on the spectacular illuminated city after dark!

If this is the first or last day of your trip, make sure to stay out after the sunset in the city at least once! Budapest is known for its vibrant night life full of international and local people alike.  As night falls, strategically placed lightning bring the cities most impressive landmarks back to life, from the Fishermans Bastion in Buda to St. Stephen’s Basilica in Pest. If you are lucky, you may even get the shot of the full moonlight over the city, contrasting with the Gothic and Renaissance buildings that its citizens are proud of. Budapest by night is simply something you have to experience!

Get the most of your night in Budapest

We take you from street level to the top of Castle Hill in this experience taking riders to explore the ultimate night views of the city, riding effortlessly on e-scooters. We begin the tour at Március 15. Square, to continue to the opposite side of the Danube all the way to the top of Buda Castle and the Fisherman’s Bastion, where the best pictures of the Parliament can be taken by night.  Take a peek at the city’s historic bridges as they sparkle to life: Liberty Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge and the Chain Bridge while we ride along the riverbank through Budapest’s main attractions. There are bike lanes conveniently located for our MonsteRoller electric scooters to ride along the river while you see on one side the various cruise ships brighten up with dinner parties, and in the opposite side the historical buildings and the inhabitants of this beautiful city.

This is a lovely guided evening sightseeing tour you truly cannot miss!  After your city tour is over, we come back to Március 15. Square where you can conveniently walk in one of the main touristic avenues: Váci Utca, also known as the Fashion Street of Budapest.
