Tours start in all weather conditions, please dress accordingly. In case of cold weather, wear layered clothing! High heel shoes and short skirts are not recommended.
Please arrive sober! Due to the nature of this activity, we reserve the right to cancel your ride without a refund if you are intoxicated.
All participants are required to sign our general conditions of contract on site before engaging in the activity (guests under 18 years old must have an adult sign for them). Our complete terms are available here.
Please note that for group bookings of 10 or more people, we reserve the right to split the group into two or more groups and start them a few minutes apart for safer riding and in order to minimize disturbance of city traffic.

Brilliant way to see Budapest. Went on Castle district monster scooter tour with Bianca our tour guide. Wonderful explanation of the sites and history of this amazing part of Budapest, all delivered by Bianca with charm and humour. We enjoyed it so much we went again the next day on the Fairy Garden tour with Atilla. Again, fantastic way to enjoy Budapest, it’s history and sights, all communicated with humour and relevant insights. Atilla was so much fun and took some great photos for us. Brilliant 1.5 hour

Me and my partner booked onto the 1.5hour tour. We were joined by one other couple. The tour started on time and within 5 mins he taught us how ride the scooter and the tour began. The first few stops are quite close together which gives you opportunity to get comfortable with your scooter. Our guide Balint was brilliant. There was a bit if everything, history, politics, recommendations etc. There was enough time at each spot for a few pictures. However, if you’re someone who likes to wonder around etc this probably isn’t the best options for you. Me and my partner loved that we hit most of the top tourist attractions in a short amount time in a fun way.

Do I need a driver's license?
What is needed to participate?
- Age limit: tour participants must be 14 years or older to drive (under adult supervision).
- You must have a valid photo ID card or a copy of your passport with you. One photo ID per group will be photographed as a deposit during the rental period.
- Due to the nature of the activity, drivers must be sober during the tour. If you arrive intoxicated, we will be forced to cancel your ride without a refund.

What should I wear?

Where does my e-scooter tour start from?

Our Buda Castle tour starts from our Buda side location at Várkert rakpart 16, 1013 Budapest (open in Google maps). It’s a 3-minute walk from Döbrentei tér bus station (bus lines 8E, 108E, 110 or 112) or from Rudas gyógyfürdő station (bus lines 7 and 107; trams 19, 41 and 56).

The tour ends at the same location.

We're a large group. Can we ride together?

We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone who’d like to ride and to make sure you can ride together with your entire group. However, in case of large groups of 10 or more people, we reserve the right to divide the group into more than one group and start them a few minutes apart for maximum safety, and in order to minimize disturbance to city traffic. Thank you for understanding.
What are the tipping customs in Hungary?
What if it rains?

Bookings are valid whether rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. But don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if needed, and gloves if it gets cold.

However, in case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the activity until next availability. If we cancel for such reasons, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling tours: Tours can be rescheduled if given advance notice of more than 24 hours (based on availability). If you let us know within less than 24 hours that you cannot make it but would like to rebook for another date or time, or you don’t show up for your tour but would like to reschedule, you will be charged a rebooking fee of €15/person. Thank you for understanding.
What is your cancellation policy?

Free cancellations are available up to 24 hours before start time. After then, a 100% cancellation fee is charged.

Rescheduling rentals: MonsteRoller e-scooter rentals can be rescheduled based on availability. If you cannot make it at the original booked time, let us know as soon as you can and our team will do our best to offer you alternate options – however, please note that it’s subject to availability and in high season, we may not be able to give you another suitable option due to a large number of reservations. Please note that if you are trying to reschedule within 24 hours and we cannot give you another suitable date, you will not be entitled to a refund.
