No driver’s license is required to participate in this Budapest half-day tour. Our MonsteRoller scooters are allowed on the bike paths in Budapest and we use them wherever we can. This means that the majority of our routes use bike paths, and you’ll be led by one of our experienced guides all the way.

We’ll start your Budapest food tour and sightseeing experience with a short training session. Your guide will show you how to use the MonsteRoller e-scooter and will give you some practice time to make sure you can ride confidently. Best thing we did in Budapest

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Atilla. He was so friendly, helpful and a lot of fun. This tour was so much more than we expected. As a local Atilla is so knowledgeable and gave us insights into the history of Budapest you won’t find on other tours. The ride around Margit Island was the highlight – so much beautiful scenery including getting up close and personal to gorgeous little birds and squirrels. Atilla also took the best photos and made a fun video of us during the ride really making our tour extra special. Highly recommended as a “must do” in Budapest.

Very Nice tour of the city. We had a private tour with Attila, who had some very funny and interesting stories about the city. He was also really helpful with taking pictures and videos throughout the tour.

The best thing to do in Budapest

We had the most amazing tour on the Monster Rollers with our guide Attila, we toured around Budapest and stopped at several places, finding out some of the history, it was fascinating and very sad. There is so much we didn’t know but very grateful to learn. Apart from the history, the Monter Rollers were excellent fun, but best of all was our guide, Attila. He took the time to take pictures and videos for our memories and made us laugh. I would 100% recommend this tour, we are in our 50ies and acted like teenagers! The best thing to do in Budapest.

Best and fun way to see the city!

We had the guided tour with Attila around all of the best sites and locations in the city. It was made even better with his great local knowledge and he had a very good, extensive historical facts and information. Attila also took some great photographs and videos of us.

Do I need a driver's license?
What is needed to participate?
Age limit: tour participants must be 14 years or older to drive (under adult supervision).

You must have a valid photo ID card or a copy of your passport with you. One photo ID per group will be photographed as a deposit during the rental period.

Due to the nature of the activity, drivers must be sober during the tour. If you arrive intoxicated, we will be forced to cancel your ride without a refund.

Please arrive a few minutes early to get set for your tour without any rush.
What should I wear?

Comfort is key during your ride. Riding an e-scooter means it can get windy during the ride, so we recommend wearing layered clothing. High heel shoes and short skirts are not recommended.

Please note that bookings are valid whether rain or shine, but don’t worry: we can provide rain ponchos if it rains, and warm gloves when it gets cold.

It’s great if you have your own reusable water bottle that you can bring along, but it’s not a requirement.

However, in case of extreme weather conditions or unforeseen events, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the activity until next availability. If we cancel for such reasons, you will receive a full refund.

Rescheduling tours: Tours can be rescheduled if given advance notice of more than 24 hours (based on availability). If you let us know within less than 24 hours that you cannot make it but would like to rebook for another date or time, or you don’t show up for your tour but would like to reschedule, you will be charged a rebooking fee of €15/person. How many people are in a tour group?

We carefully designed the Eat, Ride & Love Budapest private tour to be a cozy, intimate and personalized experience where you can feel like friends by the end of the journey, with no more than 8 people in the group. We want to make sure we can ride together smoothly and see all the sights (which is packed list!) while everyone gets plenty of time to ask their questions.
We're a large group. Can we ride together?

We try our best to accommodate your entire group like to ride and to make sure you can ride together with your entire group. However, in case of large groups of 8 or more people, we will have to divide the group into more than one group and start them a few minutes apart for maximum safety, and to ensure the best experience for all the participants. Thank you for understanding.

Free cancellations are available up to 24 hours before start time. After then, a 100% cancellation fee is charged.

Rescheduling rentals: MonsteRoller e-scooter rentals can be rescheduled based on availability. If you cannot make it at the original booked time, let us know as soon as you can and our team will do our best to offer you alternate options – however, please note that it’s subject to availability and in high season, we may not be able to give you another suitable option due to a large number of reservations. Please note that if you are trying to reschedule within 24 hours and we cannot give you another suitable date, you will not be entitled to a refund.
