Useful Information About This Budapest Guided Tour
You don’t need a license
Our MonsteRoller e-scooters don’t require a driver’s license and they are allowed on Budapest’s bike paths as well, so we use them on all of our tours where available. While the road up to the Citadel includes some low-traffic routes, you can ride with confidence behind your experienced tour guide who will lead the way.
Let’s ride! But how?
All of our guided tours in Budapest start with a brief training session where we show you how to use and ride the MonsteRoller e-scooter.
However, if you don’t have any experience with bikes or electric scooters, we recommend arriving a bit earlier to make sure you have enough practice time. You can even make use of our e-scooter rentals in Budapest beforehand to make sure that you can ride confidently and we can set out swiftly to explore the sights.
We’ll guide you through the process, ensuring you’re comfortable before we set off. Ready to hop on and ride up to see the views from the Citadel?
Zip up to see the Citadel in just an hour
One hour might seem short for a tour, but you’ll be surprised how much we can see riding on e-scooters!
Our Citadel Tour takes in Gellért Hill’s most remarkable sights in just 60 minutes and your friendly guide will share the best stories from the area’s history.
Join us for a fun and quick e-scooter tour and discover the best views of Budapest in the most fun way, and which will probably have you coming back for more!
It’s a small group at the top
We designed our Budapest e-scooter tours for small groups, ensuring a cosy and friendly experience.
Since this is a one-hour ride, we like to keep it small to ensure that the time spent riding and seeing the sights is well-balanced.
Your tour guides are eager to share their love and knowledge of Budapest and we want to make sure you have time to ask questions while you explore the best of Gellért Hill and the Citadel.
Route and top sights
Gellért Square and Gellért Thermal Bath – Cave Church – a longer stop on top of Gellért Hill by the Citadel to soak in the beauty of the Liberty Statue and the best panoramic views of Budapest – Philosophers’ Garden, a nice green spot with statues and great views of Buda Castle
